Hightlight - Marriott Desert Springs Villas

California Desert Timeshare, Profile:
Marriott Desert Springs Villas
One of the finest timeshare resorts in the Southern California desert
is the Marriott Desert Springs Villas, located in Pam Desert. This
resort has so much to offer including Tennis on three different
surfaces and a world class golf courses. It also boasts several
swimming pools with food courts at most all of them. Some pools are
adult only. The restaurants are diverse including, Italian, Japanese
steak house and a seafood restaurant all welcome families and prices
vary, most are in the mid to upper price range.
The Villas are all two bedroom, sleep 8. All have the lockout feature,
which allows owners to split their week into two. Instead of using a 2
bedroom sleep eight for one week, owners can have two weeks, one in a
one bedroom, sleep four and a second in a studio, sleep 4. On
exchanges, Interval International has been known to upgrade unit’s one
level at no additional charge.
The seasons are red for exchange all year 'round, but staying at the
resort. Red (aka, platinum) reservations are December 10 through May
31. White (aka, gold) dates are June 1 through July 4 and September 6
thru December 10. Blue (aka, silver) is July 5 through September 5. The
accommodations are luxurious with California King beds in the master
bedrooms, sundecks, fully equipped kitchens, and roomy living rooms in
the larger of the two 'lockout' units, and whirlpool tubs in both
bathrooms.
The hotel lobby is magnificent, boasting exotic birds and gondola boats
that take you from inside the lobby outside with dock stops at each
restaurant, creating a very enjoyable travel experience to and from
each hotel restaurant.
The resort was sold out several years ago and now units can only be
purchases via the resale route. The resort is fabulous, the Marriott
system is the best - but be sure not to purchase a unit at retail
price. PTS has procured a few select units and offers them for about at
$5000 to $9000 less than Marriott. The only difference is that on a
resale, Marriott will not allow you to participate (every other year)
in their points system. If you take the time to understand the program,
you’ll agree, so to so many owners, that it is not this special
privilege of ‘points’ this is worth the hefty price tag when you buy
directly from Marriott.
Call PTS and we will explain the program in easy to understand terms,
without all the sales glitz. As the broker at PTS, I personally own
Marriott Timeshares. My family and I thoroughly enjoy our vacations
each time we visit the Marriott Desert Springs Villas. That’s all for
now - please let us know if we can be of service to you or if you have
any particular subject you’d like to have written up in our next
newsletter….Have a great summer.
